Software Security Engineering

• Research and develop algorithms and tools to protect the intellectual property
• Collaborate with researchers and scientists to improve security measures
• Conceptualize requirements and research possibilities for future security improvements
• Work within a cross-functional team including software and QA engineers

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science) or demonstrable equivalent work experience in a security-related role
• Knowledge of security mechanisms of operating systems, like Windows, MacOS, iOS, Linux and Android
• Knowledge of platform-independent software development with C and C++
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to handle sensitive data and information with a high level of confidentiality
• You value teamwork and a positive team culture, * Interest in compiler design, program analysis and low-level system behavior
• Understanding how antivirus software works
• Experience with Ghidra, IDA or other SRE frameworks
• Good command of German, both written and spoken, * bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science)

The position offers a gross monthly salary above the collective agreement, starting from EUR3,500 for junior profiles and from EUR5,000 for senior profiles, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
