Job description
As a Software Tester, you help ensure that zenon works reliably in real-world environments. You test, analyse and improve - with a clear focus on quality.

Key tasks
- Plan and execute manual software tests
- Create test concepts and generate test data
- Perform functional, integration, system and performance testing
- Analyze and document test results and manage defect tracking
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing strategy, zenon is our successful software platform, developed for automation and digitization projects as well as to implement sustainability goals in production companies. You'veprobably enjoyed food or drinks, have taken medication or a ride in a car that was produced with the help of zenon. Or maybe your electricity provider works with our software? It's quite possible that we've already been connected, even if indirectly.
Requirements
- Knowledge: Software testing, industrial automation, test design, defect analysis, quality assurance, experience with Linux is a plus
- Location: Salzburg, Austria
- Level: Junior, * Technical education (e.g. apprenticeship, technical college, or university) or first hands-on experience in software testing or industrial automation
- Familiarity with test tools and test environments
- Experience with Linux is a plus
- Interest in industrial automation
- Strong self-organization, sense of ownership and problem-solving skills
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Good English skills, written and spoken
Depending on professional experience, this position is at least classified according to the IT collective agreement in ST1/entry level. The final gross salary is in line with the market and is based on your training, qualifications and experience.
This position is part of the zenon software engineering team.
