Cloud Engineer to Architect

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong Azure expertise who is ready to take the next step towards a Cloud Architect role . You will work in a complex, large-scale environment where cloud platforms are critical to business continuity, security, and innovation-within a utilities / energy market context ., * Design, build, and operate Azure-based cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS).

• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions , patterns, and standards.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable cloud solutions .
• Support and evolve landing zones , networking, security, and identity setups.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, security, and operations teams.
• Improve automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and resilience .
• Gradually take ownership of end-to-end architectural components .

• Strong experience as a Cloud Engineer in Azure environments (must-have).
• Solid knowledge of:
• Azure networking, identity, security, governance
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Exposure to or strong interest in cloud architecture and design principles.
• Experience in or affinity with the energy, utilities, or market infrastructure domain is a strong plus.
• Able to work in complex, regulated environments .
• Fluent in Dutch or French (English used in technical context).
