Job description

We are seeking for a motivated and innovative Scientist with PhD in life science or engineering sciences with a focus on nanomedicine in immunity/inflammation and experience with entrepreneurship. Your tasks include

  • Drive the development and application of high-content imaging assays to profile immune responses
  • Contribute to cutting-edge research in drug and disease profiling
  • Engage in business development activities
  • Communicate with external stakeholders
  • Deliver presentations at conferences
  • Support start-up stage activities

Requirements

  • PhD in life science with focus in immunology and bioengineering, biochemistry, molecular medicine
  • Experience in a start-up environment, industry, business administration customer relations with focus on drug and biomarker discovery
  • Background in immunity/inflammation and/or nanomedicine
  • Experience with in vitro and cell-based assay development and validation
  • Hands-on experience in laboratory automation, high-content screening & imaging (HCI/HCS) and single-cell data analysis, statistical computing, use of AI/ML models for data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and team-working skills
  • Fluency in English
