Job description
We are looking for a skilled Quality & Governance Manager (m/f/d) in an international SAP implementation program in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid. The Quality & Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across all project deliverables. The role focuses on defining, establishing, and enforcing Golden Samples as reference artefacts and ensuring all teams produce consistent, traceable, and reusable deliverables in line with project quality standards. The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office. We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site. Creating passion: your responsibilities Quality governance ownership: Establish, implement, and monitor a project-wide quality and governance framework. Act as the authority for deliverable quality and ensure adherence to defined standards. Deliverable quality assurance: Review and validate key artefacts (concepts, functional designs, specifications, process documentation, approvals) against Golden Samples to ensure completeness, clarity, consistency, and compliance with standards. Documentation standards and compliance: Define and enforce templates, structure, version control, review cycles, and approval procedures across all workstreams. Active quality enforcement: Ensure teams follow the intended quality logic, coach teams on high-quality deliverables, and detect early deviations from standards. Continuous improvement: Maintain and refine Golden Samples and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification. 5+ years of proven experience in quality assurance, governance, and documentation standards in large SAP transformation projects. Ability to define and enforce high-quality reference artefacts and documentation standards. Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working. Authority and assertiveness to enforce quality standards. Excellent communication and coaching skills. Ability to work across functions and locations. Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.
