Back End Developer

Getzap is looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer III to architect, build, and scale distributed backend systems for real-time gaming platforms. This role requires 5-7 years of backend engineering experience, proficiency in languages like Java, Go, Node.js, or Python, and a solid understanding of system design and algorithms. • Strong proficiency in any one or more: Java, Go, Node.js, or Python.
• Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with distributed systems and high-concurrency environments.
• Solid understanding of caching, queues, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
