Job description

SC Security Cleared Cloud Product Governance Manager-Azure-Agile- is required by our government client based in London. Hybrid working .

Due to the urgency of the role, a current SC or DV (Developed Vetting) is required (or you will be eligible).

To provide strategic product leadership, governance oversight, and financial stewardship for the organisation's Azure tenant.

Essential Skills/Experience experience of Agile ways of working Clear understanding of Azure governance constructs: landing zones, management groups, RBAC, policy, blueprints, tagging, subscription management, resource lifecycle.

Strong working knowledge of cloud financial management, Azure cost models, consumption insights, and budget governance controls.

High proficiency in risk management, including identification, assessment, control strategies, and governance escalation routes.

Strong product management skills in backlog refinement, prioritisation, and roadmap creation within DDAT frameworks.

Ability to interpret technical, security, and operational input and convert it into policy, governance rules, or product decisions.

Familiarity with FinOps principles, shared responsibility models, and cloud operating models.

Strong stakeholder engagement capability, especially across engineering, architecture, security, and senior governance bodies.

The role ensures that Azure services are used securely, responsibly, and cost effectively, through strong guardrails, policies, lifecycle management, and data driven decision-making.

Acting as the authoritative owner of Azure governance products and frameworks, the role safeguards the tenant, optimises spend, and ensures alignment with organisational and cloud operating model standards.
