Job description
- Support and enhance AWS-based production platforms in an Devops/SRE capacity
- Operate and optimise containerised workloads using AWS ECS and Kubernetes/EKS
- Own and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Work with Ansible and Puppet for configuration management
- Build, maintain and troubleshoot GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring, logging and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch
- Support incident management, root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
- Contribute to AWS security, backup, disaster recovery and cost optimisation best practice
- Work closely with software engineering teams to improve release quality, application resilience and production reliability
Requirements
- Strong recent AWS EC2 DevOps/SRE experience in production environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, Terraform, Ansible and/or Puppet
- Strong Grafana experience, ideally with Prometheus or CloudWatch
- GitHub or similar CI/CD experience
- Solid Linux, networking and security fundamentals
- Experience supporting 24/7 production systems
- Good Scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar
- Experience working with software engineering teams, deploying enterprise applications or familiarity with full stack software development life cycle
- Kubernetes/EKS experience would be beneficial
