Job description
DevOps Engineer - Cloud Security & EDR Deployment (Azure/Kubernetes)
Location - London (Hybrid)
Contract - (6- months)
Day rate - £400
SC clearance needed
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the deployment of an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution across a large-scale Azure cloud estate within a banking environment. This includes servers, Kubernetes clusters, and containerised workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Support deployment and integration of EDR tooling across cloud infrastructure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (eg GitHub Actions or similar)
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Work across Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Support observability and monitoring using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics
- Collaborate with security, platform, and engineering teams to improve reliability and security
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with Azure cloud and monitoring/troubleshooting tools
- Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) experience
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of networking (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, protocols)
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers
- DevOps or SRE experience with automation focus
- Exposure to observability/AIOps tooling
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Eagerness to learn and share knowledge
Desirable
- Agile working experience
- ITIL knowledge
- Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
Requirements
