This is a great opportunity for a developer with solid fundamentals who's keen to grow their skills and get hands-on experience across the full development stack.

You'll be working on real-world systems that support day-to-day business operations, collaborating closely with internal teams and experienced developers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining internal web applications and client-facing systems
  • Building responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React
  • Assisting with backend services and RESTful APIs
  • Working with databases to store and manage application data
  • Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and improving performance
  • Contributing to code reviews and following best development practices

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with a frontend framework such as React (commercial or personal projects)
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with backend concepts (e.g. Node.js, Express, or similar)
  • Experience with at least one database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB)
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development fundamentals
  • Comfortable using Git
  • A strong desire to learn and develop as a software engineer

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

  • Exposure to TypeScript
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms or hosting environments
  • Experience building internal tools or business systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience
  • Work on meaningful systems with real business impact
  • Support for learning and professional development
  • Friendly, supportive, and collaborative team environment

If you're practical, hands-on, and excited to grow as a full stack developer, we'd love to hear from you.
