Job description

  • Feature Development: Implement rendering techniques and effects within our proprietary engine to support our core projects, ensuring they meet the high visual standards expected by our partners
  • Optimization: Profile and optimize both C++ and GPU-side code to identify bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions
  • Co-Development Mindset: Collaborate effectively across internal disciplines and with external partner teams, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to project challenges
  • Workflow Integration: Collaborate across development disciplines to refine asset pipelines, tools and workflows
  • Growth & Mentorship: Actively participate in code reviews and share your growing graphics knowledge with the wider team

Requirements

  • Core Proficiency: Experience in C++ and shader development
  • API Knowledge: Experience with modern graphics APIs such as DX12 or Vulkan and an interest in cross-platform development
  • Profiling Skills: Familiarity with industry-standard profiling tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, or NSight to diagnose and fix performance issues
  • Rendering Fundamentals: A solid understanding of modern techniques including PBR, Global Illumination, Deferred Rendering and real-time Ray Tracing
  • Low-Level Awareness: It would be beneficial to have experience in systems like memory management and streaming for large-scale open-world environments
  • Adaptability: A proactive approach to learning new tools and new graphics rendering techniques, * All relevant qualifications considered
