Job description
- Own the software architecture for an assigned product or platform area
- Drive engineering delivery from planning through to production
- Provide technical leadership and direction to distributed engineering teams
- Remove technical blockers and make pragmatic trade-off decisions
- Define and uphold technical standards, patterns, and engineering conventions
- Lead the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices
- Ensure operational readiness including infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate technology and tooling choices with clear rationale

Requirements
- Proven record of owning complex platforms or digital products end-to-end
- Strong communication skills to operate across technical and non-technical audiences

- Ability to lead distributed teams and balance technical quality with delivery pace in complex environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices and tooling
- Knowledge of content platforms and education technology is a plus
- Understanding of modern web technology stacks and engineering tools
