Job description

  • Own the software architecture for an assigned product or platform area
  • Drive engineering delivery from planning through to production
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to distributed engineering teams
  • Remove technical blockers and make pragmatic trade-off decisions
  • Define and uphold technical standards, patterns, and engineering conventions
  • Lead the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices
  • Ensure operational readiness including infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
  • Evaluate technology and tooling choices with clear rationale

Requirements

  • Proven record of owning complex platforms or digital products end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills to operate across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience translating product and solution designs into engineering delivery
  • Ability to lead distributed teams and balance technical quality with delivery pace in complex environments
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices and tooling
  • Knowledge of content platforms and education technology is a plus
  • Understanding of modern web technology stacks and engineering tools
