Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end release cycles across applications and environments.

Define release scope, schedules, and deployment strategies; manage dependencies and risks.

Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth release execution.

Govern CI/CD pipelines and ensure release readiness, quality gates, and rollback strategies.

Manage environment readiness, code freezes, version control, and release documentation.

Monitor releases post-deployment, track incidents, and ensure quick resolution of issues.

Ensure compliance with change management, security, and audit requirements.

Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and DevOps maturity.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

7+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Release Management or DevOps.

Strong understanding of release management processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.

Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and deployment practices.

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ITIL change/release management processes.

Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:

Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CSM, or SAFe.

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.

Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, ELK, Splunk).

Experience in release automation, environment management, and incident handling.
