Job description
- Contribute to Horizon Mobile experiences (feature development, bug fixing, iteration).
- Validate AI automation pipelines
- Test/verify AI-driven automation workflows (quality checks, edge cases, regressions, reliability).
- Game engine development/support
- Work in or alongside Unity/Unreal (and potentially web game engines) to build/debug mobile game-engine experiences.
- Collaborate through the interview + delivery process
- Partner with the team across requirements, technical discussions, and execution (hybrid Seattle-based team)., * Design, develop, and implement AI solutions to address specific business needs.
- Analyze and optimize existing AI tools for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI technologies into current systems.
- Maintain awareness of current industry trends and advancements, particularly in Agentic Software Development., * Focus on Horizon Mobile experiences within client's Content organization.
- Primary responsibilities include validating AI automation pipelines.
- Requires hands-on experience with game engine tooling, specifically Unity/Unreal.

Requirements
- Client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer for a temporary, contingent worker assignment within the Horizon Content Engineering team, located in Seattle, WA. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative AI projects in a fast-paced environment. While based in Seattle, qualified candidates residing in the United States may be eligible for remote work options.
Must-Have Skills:
- Unity/Unreal game engine experience
- AI automation pipeline validation/testing (incl. Claude familiarity)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (CS/CE background; C#/JS or similar)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Reality Labs / ex-Meta experience (or similar AR/VR/mobile product environment)
- Multi-language flexibility (C#, JavaScript, and web game engines)
- Game industry background (shipped titles or production experience), * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in software development utilizing Agentic AI Tools.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience with an industry-standard game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal, Godot).
- Strong analytical and sophisticated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
