Job description
The Data Architect will design, build, and govern enterprise-scale data architectures that power a Cyber Data Intelligence Platform. This role is responsible for modeling, integrating, and optimizing security and telemetry data across data lakes, warehouses, and reporting layers to enable advanced analytics, exposure management, and executive reporting., Data Architecture & Design
· Design and maintain scalable end-to-end data architecture supporting cyber and security analytics use cases.
· Define logical, physical, and semantic data models optimized for analytics and reporting.
· Establish standardized SQL staging schemas for raw, curated, and consumable data layers.
· Architect data flows between data lake, staging, and Amazon Redshift environments.
Data Engineering & Integration
· Lead the design and implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and SQL-based transformations.
· Integrate structured and semi-structured data from security platforms (e.g., vulnerability, cloud, endpoint, IAM, DLP tools).
· Optimize Redshift performance using:
o Distribution styles and keys
o Sort keys
o Partitioning strategies
o Query optimization and cost control
Data Lake & Warehouse Management
· Architect and govern data lake ingestion, storage, and lifecycle management.
· Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and metadata management across platforms.
· Implement scalable patterns for incremental loads, CDC, and historical tracking.
Analytics & Reporting Enablement
· Design reporting-ready datasets optimized for Power BI semantic models.
· Partner with BI developers and analysts to ensure efficient data consumption.
· Enable executive-level dashboards, operational reporting, and risk analytics.
Governance, Security & Compliance
· Define data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices.
· Implement data security controls consistent with cyber and compliance requirements.
· Support audit readiness through documentation, lineage, and data validation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
· Work closely with Cyber Security teams, Product Owners, Engineers, and BI teams.
· Translate business and security requirements into scalable data solutions.
· Provide architectural guidance and design reviews across delivery teams.
