Job description
- Analyze and produce reports of varied claims data to assess products and programs.
- Assist stakeholders by developing prototype and production-supported metrics and dashboard visualizations.
- Act as a business intelligence subject matter expert, training and supporting users in the creation and interpretation of data visualizations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and document solution designs.
- Document methods and specifications to support end-user self-sufficiency.
- Conduct maintenance and fine-tuning of dashboard designs and support the mitigation of data issues.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree in applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or a business/social and behavioral science field is required, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience: Candidates must have at least 2 years of work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations or dashboards from large data sets, and working with complex queries.
Technical Skills: A minimum of 2 years of experience with dashboard generation technologies such as Tableau (v9.0 or higher), Tibco Spotfire, or Qlik View is necessary. A demonstrated understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and data management principles using SQL is also required., * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and within established timeframes.
- Organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and interpret complex data.
- Ability to establish rapport and effectively influence at all levels within an organization.
Benefits & conditions
The pay rate for this position is between $49.00 and $55.00 per hour. The contract duration is through August 14, 2026.
