Job description

The Senior Manager partners across Contracts, Subcontracts, Legal, Finance, and business teams to strengthen processes, drive consistency, and enhance efficiency, while ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and business objectives. This position requires US Citizenship and is remote telework., Contract Compliance Oversight

Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with federal government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS and agency supplements) and commercial requirements.

  • Conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews; support audit activities and track corrective actions to strengthen the contracts compliance program.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to promote consistent and compliant practices across the organization aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance reporting, metrics, and documentation to support internal oversight and external reviews.

? Training & Systems Management

Develop and deliver training programs on contract compliance, regulatory requirements, effective contract negotiation practices, risk mitigation strategies, and other relevant topics.

  • Ensure tools, systems, and processes support compliance tracking, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Partner with IT and operational teams to enhance system functionality, improve data visibility, and support reporting capabilities.

Leadership & Operations

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, policies, and standard processes across the Contracts function.

  • Manage and develop a cross-functional compliance and operations team.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on compliance risks, policies, and process improvements to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging regulatory and industry developments and translate requirements into actionable guidance and process updates.
  • Support due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions from a contracts compliance perspective.
  • Partner with senior leadership to execute compliance and systems initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Government Contracting, Acquisition, or related field (Master's or JD preferred).
  • Typically 12+ years of progressive experience in government contracting, with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of federal government regulations (FAR/DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and compliance/audit practices.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and enhancing compliance programs, internal controls, and audit readiness within a government contracting environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to implement processes, improve compliance, and support business objectives.
  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a publicly traded government services company with an international business portfolio.
  • Experience supporting contract management systems, reporting tools, and data analytics initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or PMP.
  • Experience supporting CPSR readiness, incurred cost submissions, DCMA-approved purchasing systems, or similar compliance frameworks.

Travel

Occasional domestic travel to operational sites and customer locations (10-20%).
