- Produce clear architecture artifacts including system diagrams, data flows, and integration specifications
Systems Integration Leadership
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify hardware, software, and firmware gaps, and propose holistic, scalable solutions that improve platform performance and market readiness.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define APIs, middleware, messaging patterns, and integration best practices
- Lead integrations with third-party platforms including CAD, VMS, LPR, analytics engines, and sensor systems
- Ensure interoperability across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid architectures
- Provide continuous field feedback to steer product capabilities and engineering priorities
Networking, Infrastructure & Video Expertise
- Design deployments across enterprise IT environments including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and QoS
- Support high-bandwidth video ingestion, real-time streaming, and edge computing architectures
- Integrate IP camera ecosystems using standards such as ONVIF and RTSP, working with VMS platforms including Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon
- Recommend and validate video encoders and edge hardware appropriate to deployment constraints
Customer Engagement & Deployment Leadership
- Serve as the technical authority during customer workshops, solution planning, and executive discussions
- Assess customer IT maturity and guide stakeholders through required network, security, and infrastructure changes
- Lead on-site implementations, troubleshoot complex issues in real time, and train customer teams for sustained operations
- Act as a product evangelist, demonstrating value, influencing adoption paths, and identifying expansion opportunities
- Provide engaging product and service demonstrations that clearly convey both technical capabilities and business value, enabling customers to make confident purchase decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Sales to define technical scope, pricing inputs, and RFP responses
- Partner with Project Management to ensure scope, cost, and timeline clarity early in the deployment lifecycle
- Document deployments and deliver post-installation reports to ensure long-term success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, systems integration, or enterprise deployments
- Proven experience deploying hardware and video ingestion solutions in complex IT environments
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75 percent domestically
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance, including successful completion of applicable law enforcement background checks.
Core Technical Skills
