Requirements

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform real-time processing software development in support of our product line. Additionally, the individual will be working as part of an Agile team with domain experts from Hardware, Software, Subsystems and Systems Engineering to understand requirements, establish architecture/design, implement sound solutions, develop unit tests, and support integration and sustainment activities. The successful candidate will have Minimum of 2 years C++ Software Development experience.

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access., * Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with a concentration in computer science courses

  • Minimum of 2 years C++ Software Development experience

  • Experience with Object Oriented C++ programming

  • Experience with Automated Test tools and Techniques, Static Code Analysis, and Embedded Applications

  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Software Modeling (UML) and architecture

  • Experience developing system and software requirements and design

  • Understanding and application of Design Patterns

  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with some skills in common scripting languages (ex: bash, Python)

  • Experience with Code Optimization for real time systems

  • Experience with Agile Principles, Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Methodologies and Agile configuration Management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Digital Signal Processing

  • CUDA development Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration., Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $57,800 - $110,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
