Job description

You'll work in a swarm model, focusing on one priority product at a time to deliver measurable ADA/WCAG improvements before moving on to the next. The role is front-end heavy (~70%), involving refactoring and enhancing React, Handlebars, and ASP.NET components to meet accessibility standards. The remaining ~30% is back-end focused, extending models and creating or modifying REST endpoints in .NET Core/C# to support updated UI flows. You'll partner closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams, implement from pre-written accessibility requirements, validate outcomes against the VPAT, and document improvements. Collaboration happens through Teams, daily standups, code reviews, proactive risk and blocker management, and tracking progress toward 2026 goals.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer (approximately 70% front end, 30% back end)

  • Strong JavaScript expertise, including ReactJS, Handlebars.js, and ASP.NET (Visual Studio) for modifying and extending UI components

  • Backend development experience using C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework, including creating and modifying REST endpoints and extending data models

  • SQL experience across MS SQL, SQLite, and PostgreSQL, including writing queries and stored procedures to extract data - Experience with C++ development

  • Familiarity with Accessibility standards and related processes
