Job description

Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.

Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.

This is a Staff Engineer opportunity on the Specialty Solutions technology team, with a focus on Specialty Networks GPO programs., * Design, develop, and maintain features within a .NET MVC application supporting GPO member practices

  • Implement and enhance logic for rebate calculators, contract performance metrics, and data-driven workflows
  • Build and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, queries, and data models supporting application functionality
  • Update and optimize Telerik reports used by physician practices and internal teams to track purchasing, invoicing, and contract compliance
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Azure DevOps
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root-cause analysis
  • Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure accuracy of financial and contract-related logic
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, cloud optimization, and modernization initiatives

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
