Job description

We are seeking a versatile AI Platforms & Community Architect to support and scale the use of OpenAI and generative AI technologies across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of platform administration, solution architecture, and user enablement, ensuring secure, scalable, and effective adoption of AI capabilities.

You will manage the OpenAI/ChatGPT environment, oversee governance and access controls, design AI-driven solutions, and foster a strong internal AI community. This is a hands-on, highly visible role working across cybersecurity, engineering, data, and business teams. Along with this you will be a Snowflake data architect. As an Architect, you will Lead the creation of the strategic enterprise data architecture for Hyatt. Partners with internal stakeholders define the principles, standards, and guidelines regarding data flows, data aggregation, data migration, data curation, data model, data consumption and data placements. Provide expertise regarding data architecture in critical programs, data strategy and data quality remediation activities. Validates data architecture for adherence to defined policies, standards and guidelines including regulatory directives.

You will be a part of a ground-floor, hands-on, highly visible team which is positioned for growth and is highly collaborative and passionate about data.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

AI Platform Administration & Governance

Administer OpenAI platforms (ChatGPT Enterprise, APIs, custom GPTs)

Manage user access, permissions, and role-based access control (RBAC)

Configure and manage workspaces, environments (Dev/Test/Prod), and policies

Implement SCIM provisioning/deprovisioning and lifecycle management

Define and enforce governance:

Prompt usage policies

Data privacy and handling standards

Model usage and selection (GPT, embeddings, fine-tuned models)

Monitor usage, quotas, API consumption, and cost controls

Implement audit logging, monitoring, and reporting

Integrate with identity providers (Okta, Azure Entra ID, Omada/OAMDA)

Enforce least-privilege access and conduct periodic access reviews

Partner with Cybersecurity to:

Obtain approvals for AI use cases

Conduct risk assessments (prompt injection, data leakage, misuse)

Support threat modeling for LLM-based solutions

Ensure compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, and internal security policies

Implement data protection controls (PII masking, redaction, tokenization)

Design and support AI/LLM-powered solutions across business functions

Guide teams on:

Prompt engineering best practices

Output validation and guardrails

Hallucination mitigation strategies

Support

Custom GPT development

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines

Model evaluation and optimization

Stay current with evolving AI/LLM technologies and recommend use cases

Integrate AI capabilities with ServiceNow:

Access requests and approvals

Incident and change management

AI service catalog

Manage and optimize Jira workflows:

Feature requests and backlog

Bug tracking

AI use case onboarding

Automate workflows and provisioning via APIs

Data Platform Integration (Snowflake & Cortex)

Work with Snowflake to enable secure AI data access and pipelines

Leverage Snowflake Cortex for embedded AI/LLM capabilities

Ensure proper data governance, masking, and access controls

Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)

Utilize AWS services including:

IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch

API Gateway, Step Functions (preferred)

Support secure integration of AI services within cloud environments

Manage secrets, API keys, and secure connectivity

Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Automate:

User provisioning

Workspace creation

Policy enforcement

Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for AI applications

Implement logging, observability, and telemetry

Build and lead an internal AI community of practice

Conduct:

Training sessions, workshops, and office hours

Knowledge-sharing forums and best practice sessions

Drive AI adoption and user engagement across teams

Act as a trusted advisor for AI use cases and innovation

Gather feedback to continuously improve platform capabilities

Collaboration & Leadership

Lead technical discussions and drive alignment across teams

Partner with vendors and technology providers on roadmap and capabilities

Work closely with engineering and data teams on solution delivery

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience administering OpenAI / ChatGPT Enterprise environments

Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI trends

5+ years of experience with AWS and Snowflake platforms

Experience with Snowflake Cortex and modern data platforms

Strong knowledge of AWS services: S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch

Experience with databases and programming: SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

Experience building data pipelines and data architectures

Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)

Experience with IAM roles, policies, and enterprise security models

Familiarity with serverless and cloud-native architectures

Ability to design scalable data lakes and data warehouse solutions
