Job description
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc.is seeking a Director, Software Engineer in New York, New York Design and implement scalable applications for end-to-end processing of corporate actions such as dividends, mergers, spin-offs, rights issues, and tender offers in global markets. Build systems to support internal operations and systemic connectivity with custodians and vendors for timely and accurate data ingestion using industry standard swift formats. Build exception-handling frameworks for break resolution, mismatch reporting, and stale event monitoring. Build automated tests to ensure full coverage of the scenarios for regression suite. Use monitor system performance metrics including data pipeline health, processing latency, and throughput.
Requirements
Requires a Master's in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field of study.
-Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Associate, Technology; Software Developer; System Engineer; or related occupation in the technology field.
-Requires Three (3) years of experience with the following skills:
- Java;
- SQL;
- JavaScript;
- Spring Boot;
- DB2;
- Git;
- Jenkins;
- RESTful services;
- SOAP; and
- Junit.

Benefits & conditions
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $156,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
