Job description
The Sales Specialist - Construction Technology Services (CTS) is responsible for driving growth across FORVIS Mazars' construction-focused technology offerings. This role partners with construction executives, finance leaders, and operations teams to modernize financial, project, and operational systems through industry-specific solutions-particularly across leading construction ERP platforms such as Trimble Construction One - (Spectrum/Vista). This is a consultative sales role designed for early career professionals who understand the construction ecosystem-margins, timelines, WIP, cash flow, and operational complexity-and can translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with CTS consulting and delivery teams to guide opportunities from discovery through close and handoff to implementation What You Will Do:

Build, develop, and expand relationships with construction organizations across mid-markets and growth

Lead business development for construction technology solutions, including construction ERP, project accounting, job cost, forecasting, reporting/analytics, and operational systems

Drive sales pursuits for Trimble Construction One platforms (e.g., Spectrum and Vista) and related connected construction solutions aligned to client needs across finance and operations

Engage construction finance and operational leadership (CFOs, Controllers, Ops Leaders, Project Execs) in conversations around job cost visibility, WIP, cash flow, scalability, forecasting, and integration

Conduct discovery to understand current-state processes and systems, then map requirements into right-sized solutions on platforms such as:

Trimble Construction One - Spectrum (construction ERP connecting accounting/payroll/HR with project teams)

Trimble Construction One - Vista (construction ERP focused on job costing, financials, HR/workforce, service/equipment, and reporting)
Collaborate closely with CTS consultants and delivery leaders to shape solution scope and ensure alignment to construction workflows and client
Guide opportunities from early discovery through proposal development, pricing, and close-ensuring clear alignment between client goals, solution scope, and delivery approach
Maintain an active and disciplined pipeline, including accurate forecasting, follow-up, and CRM hygiene
Support a smooth handoff from sales to delivery to set the foundation for long-term client success
Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within:

ERP or cloud software sales

Professional services or consulting
-
Technology-enabled business solutions
Demonstrated sales aptitude, curiosity, and desire to develop into a consultative sales professional
Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external prospects
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing presence
Willingness to learn construction workflows, terminology, and industry-specific challenges along with the ability to articulate business value and align solutions to client needs
Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar Preferred Qualifications:

Experience selling or supporting construction technology solutions and/or professional services

Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms:

Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum (construction ERP connecting accounting/payroll/HR and project operations)

Trimble Viewpoint Vista (construction ERP supporting job costing, financial management, workforce/payroll, service/equipment, and reporting)
