Job description

Make an impact by using your expertise to protect our country from threats., As a Software Engineer Principal, the work you'll do at Praxis/VRL will be impactful to the mission of multiple customers. You will play a crucial role in development and maintenance of OCO Cyber Tools.

  • Lead/Manage/Support software development of Cyber Tools for our customers.
  • Collaborate with peers and customers to achieve mission success
  • Utilize different languages to achieve a wide range of goals (C, C++, Rust, Go, Python, etc.)

Requirements

ANSI C++

C (Programming Language)

C++ STL, Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Engineer Principal must have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

  • Experience: 8+ years of related experience

  • Technical skills:

  • At least one of C, C++, Rust, Go, Python or other languages. Multiple preferred.

  • Reverse engineering or assembly level experience

  • git (Gitlab preferred)

  • Creation and use of CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with networking and containers

  • Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI

  • US citizenship required, 8 + years of related experience

  • may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree Certification

Work Requirements

Years of Experience, The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
