Job description

  • Evaluate airframe designs against customer defined requirements
  • Convert CAD (Computer Aided Design) geometry to a vulnerability toolset format
  • Develop and maintain new and existing Python data processing libraries
  • Learn about aircraft failure modes and how failures affect a mission
  • Learn Boeing and US Government tools, including Advanced Joint Effectiveness Model (AJEM) and COVART (Computation of Vulnerable Area Tool), to conduct analysis
  • Support testing of aircraft full scale test articles and subcomponents to assess vulnerabilities to threats
  • Summarize analysis and test results in internal and external customer reports
  • Communicate analysis and test results to Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Chief Engineers, Program Management, and the customer community

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Able to travel domestically 10-20%

Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Familiarity with software version control systems such as Git or SVN
  • Interest in learning about combat aircraft systems, technologies, and operations
  • Experience with modern programming and scripting such as C++, Tcl, Python or Visual Basic, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. , U.S. , lawful permanent , refugee, or asylee., Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required, This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $73,950 - $100,050
