Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin/Node)

Insight Global is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Android Kotlin and Node development. This person will be responsible for helping build and guide architecture decisions for an internal mobile facing application for a top retail company. This person will need to be highly collaborative and eager to learn and grow. It is critical for this role to be passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and seeking find efficiencies. This Engineer will be hands on developing in a full stack environment with the ability to be flexible working front end and back end. They will need to be passionate about new technology including adopting AI. They will also be working in a test-driven development style so will be expected to test their own development. The annual salary for this role is between $110,000-120,000/yr.

5+ years of software development experience

Experience using Kotlin for Android Development

Node / Node.JS

Experience using Cloud servers: Azure, AWS, GCP

Test-driven development experience

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines Familiarity/Knowledge of SAP - not afraid of SAP, every application is going to be interacting with it

Uses AI for development (professional or personal projects)

Experience with .Net for the backend
