Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT PMO Manager to lead and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) for IT initiatives. This role is responsible for establishing project governance, ensuring successful delivery of IT programs, and aligning projects with organizational strategy., * Lead and manage the IT PMO, ensuring effective project governance and standards
- Define and implement project management methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and programs
- Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects
- Ensure alignment of IT projects with business objectives and strategy
- Prepare and present status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and PMO processes
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong experience in IT project/program management and PMO leadership
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale IT projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow), * PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
- Experience in portfolio management and strategic planning
- Familiarity with financial management and budgeting for IT projects
- Knowledge of governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT), * 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in PMO or leadership roles
