Job description
QA/QC Technician - Structured Cabling & Low Voltage (Data Center) We're looking for a detaildriven QA/QC Technician to support quality inspections inside a data center environment. This is a pure auditing role - not an installation position. You'll review completed telecom work to ensure everything is installed correctly, tested properly, dressed cleanly, and compliant with industry and manufacturer standards. What You'll Do
- Perform daily QA/QC audits on copper, fiber, racks, and cable dressing
- Document nonconformities, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Verify testing, labeling, and installation quality
- Support corrective action plans and followup inspections
- Maintain organized reports and inspection records
- Assist with training teams on quality standards
- Stay current on industry codes, standards, and best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of structured cabling experience (fiber & copper)
- Strong understanding of cabling standards and proper installation practices
- Ability to think like an auditor, not an installer
- Excellent attention to detail and criticalthinking skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; LMS experience a plus
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Ability to travel occasionally and support multiple sites if needed Work Environment

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (OT available and sometimes required) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
