Job description

You'll modernize legacy Java codebases using AI-assisted development tools refactoring services, generating tests, automating documentation, and accelerating delivery alongside senior engineering teams.

What you'll do: Refactor and modernize legacy Java services into Spring Boot microservices Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) for code analysis, generation, documentation, and testing Build and maintain secure, performant RESTful APIs (JSON / YAML) Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Git Apply security best practices and performance tuning at scale

Requirements

6+ years hands-on Java + Spring Boot Microservices architecture and REST API design experience Practical experience using AI coding assistants in daily work CI/CD fluency (Jenkins, Maven, Git) Banking or regulated-industry experience is a plus
