Job description

We are looking for an experienced Migration Engineer with strong expertise in WebSphere technologies and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms. The role involves migrating applications from data centers to cloud environments, managing middleware infrastructure, and ensuring system performance,stability, and security., Install, configure, and manage WebSphere Application Server (WAS ND) environments. Administer WebSphere Liberty servers and support modern application deployments. Perform application and middleware migration to cloud platforms. Configure and manage JDBC, JMS, clustering, and security (SSL/TLS). Support and maintain ESB platforms (IBM IIB/ACE, Mule, or similar). Manage IBM MQ (queues, channels, messaging). Troubleshoot performance issues, logs, JVM, and integration flows. Deploy applications and integration components across environments. Support CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Monitor systems and ensure high availability. Provide production support and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

Strong experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS ND) Experience with WebSphere Liberty Hands-on experience with ESB platforms (IBM IIB/ACE, Mule, TIBCO, etc.) Good knowledge of Java, middleware architecture, SOAP/REST, and JMS Experience with IBM MQ Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills Experience with Linux/Unix systems Knowledge of automation tools (Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.)

Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab) IBM certifications in WebSphere or integration technologies
