PEMCCO is seeking a Transit Systems Integration Engineer to ensure seamless integration between 800MHz radio systems and missioncritical dispatch platforms within a realtime operations environment for a large urban multimodal transit system. This role underpins longterm communications resilience for a highridership, safetycritical urban transportation network and supports dispatch continuity, phased cutover planning, and operational readiness throughout the modernization lifecycle.

This role follows a Hybrid/OnSite schedule; however, candidates should anticipate substantial onsite coordination within active rail and bus operational environments.

Essential Functions

• Analyze integration dependencies between radio infrastructure and dispatch systems.
• Define system interface requirements and documentation.
• Develop fallback radio-only operational scenarios to ensure service continuity.
• Support pilot integration validation activities.
• Assist in phased migration and cutover planning.
• Coordinate with operations control centers during modernization activities.
• Support interoperability matrix development.
• Assist with operational workflow documentation.

• Systems architecture analysis
• Cross-platform integration

• Technical documentation and stakeholder coordination, * Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of systems integration experience.
• Experience integrating LMR systems with CAD or dispatch platforms., * Experience supporting large-scale transit modernization initiatives.
• Experience in mission-critical control center environments.
• Candidates with experience in transit, public safety, or largescale infrastructure projects are strongly .
