Job description

As Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyse data, identify trends, and help drive efficiencies through insightful reporting and system improvements., * Compiling and analysing data to support ongoing business challenges and initiatives

  • Identifying inefficiencies within processes and recommending data-driven improvements
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines, with a focus on automation and scalability
  • Supporting system integrity and consistency across head office and operational sites
  • Developing clear, impactful dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
  • Assisting with POS and inventory system management, including menu updates
  • Acting as a point of contact for data queries, providing technical support and training
  • Supporting system installations and onboarding of new sites
  • Managing system downtime and troubleshooting issues as they arise

Requirements

Sharp Consultancy are partnering with a fast-growing business to recruit a driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their data career who is passionate about transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that influence real business decisions., We are looking for a proactive and naturally curious individual with a strong analytical mindset. You will be comfortable working with data, eager to learn, and confident communicating insights to a range of stakeholders., * 1-2 years' experience in a data analysis or similar role

  • Demonstrable SQL and DAX skills, with the ability to write and optimise queries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable experience includes:

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating data sources
  • Understanding of different data structures
  • Background within hospitality, retail, or leisure sectors
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Lightspeed
