As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Payments Technology, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. Your advanced analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to break down business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks, while navigating through ambiguity and driving change. With demonstrated technical fluency, you will effectively manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals. Your exceptional communication and influencing abilities will foster productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective risk management.
In this strategic regional role, you will contribute to the delivery of payments solutions in new markets where JP Morgan aspires to grow our client base and modernise markets where we are already significant players., * Maintains a clear view of the EMEA regional portfolio, staying current on all the programs and books of work across all the lines of payments business
- Ensures country specific views are maintained for the EMEA payments specific investments in technology and program RAIDs and Delivery risks are being actively managed with the technology program managers
- Drives the regional technology forum for the EMEA PT CTO to ensure there is clear governance of the region for payments technology
- Develops and implements strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration
- Oversees complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
- Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes
- Guides the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in managing a large regional portfolio and ensuring the health and hygiene of an entire region can be carefully managed and transparently shared with very senior business stakeholders and investment owners.
- Significant experience and expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments

- Clear communication skills with the ability to understand complex regulatory policy and help translate that into what the technical impact would be
- Ability to influence senior technology and product partners to ensure the right outcomes for the firm
- Ability to collaborate with product teams while identifying opportunities to innovate and get better customer experiences.
- Ability to multi task across several large programs while maintaining the right balance of priorities depending on the audience
