Design Engineer

• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings
• Support the design of components, tooling and production equipment
• Produce clear manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
• Manage drawing control, revisions and data within a PDM system
• Support production improvements, tooling changes and equipment upgrades
• Work closely with engineering, production and maintenance teams
• Assist with technical investigations and problem-solving activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards and processes

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or similar, or equivalent experience
• Experience using 3D CAD software
• Strong attention to detail and organised working style
• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach

Desirable but not essential

• Autodesk Inventor
• Autodesk Vault or other PDM systems
• Exposure to FEA tools
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
