Data Analysis - Download, receive, review, and interpret data for use in various Trade Compliance projects. Interact with internal stakeholders to create new tools for use by US and Global Trade Compliance Operations teams. Working with linked datasets pulled from different systems, create dashboards for determining business needs such as import and export clearance, audits, and classification requests. Work closely with stakeholders on project teams to identify gaps in processes and explore solutions. Provide data and documentation to service providers as needed. Act as an intermediary between the Trade Compliance department and Global Business Systems teams for upgrade and enhancement activities in the ERP system. Develop and improve desktop instructions and training materials for use by operations teams. Create statistics and team metrics regarding various data points associated with inbound and outbound shipments. Track, provide statistics, and manage corrective action regarding missed deadlines. Create method to track return items from initial shipment to claim US Goods Return advantage. Report metrics regarding refund amounts claimed, received and outstanding. Create metric for failures and penalties to identify trends and conduct root cause analysis. Identify corrective action and work with partners to implement process change. Support improvement of negative trends by providing key training to personnel involved. Work with stakeholders cross-functionally and internationally to identify and implement process improvements. Ensure auditability of refund requests to United States Customs and Border Protection. Verify compliance data to include classification and country of origin determination. Work with Logistics to ensure best practice with shipping to the US.

Research, Planning, and Implementation - Research regulations and best practices to identify areas where duty savings can be realized. Identify automation tools and how they may be utilized for cross-border transactions. Plan changes and oversee execution of changes. Document procedures to support process creation, change, or improvement.

Continuous Process Improvement Analysis - Work independently based on experience and knowledge to conduct analysis on trade compliance import processes to identify additional areas of automation and refund potential. Work with key stakeholders to implement processes that support improved import process flow, duty savings, duty refund, and/or reduce the Company's customs compliance risk.

Trade Compliance Team Support - Support tactical trade compliance tasks when directed. Troubleshoot Import issues. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-4 years related experience
- Associate degree
- Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Frequent travel (6-20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both Power BI and Excel.
- Possess US Customers Broker License or obtain within a year of hire.
- Experienced in document review or audit in Trade Compliance, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to lead as an individual contributor and work as a contributing team member on cross-functional teams.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel. Advanced analytical skills, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Professional with high degree of autonomy.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
