Director, IT Data Engineering

Lead enterprise data governance and master data management initiatives, aligning stakeholders and driving strategic program outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-level data governance and MDM programs across business units
• Stand up and manage a vendor data governance workstream
• Build and maintain high-level project plans, focusing on milestones and outcomes
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align on program objectives and priorities
• Manage strong personalities and unblock issues across cross-functional teams
• Oversee third-party vendor relationships including procurement, legal, and risk
• Ensure scalable governance frameworks, documentation, and checkpoints
• Anticipate risks, remove roadblocks, and keep programs on track
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment without micromanagement

• 10 years of experience in program/project management
• Strong background in enterprise data governance and master data management (MDM)
• Experience leading enterprise-wide data governance initiatives across multiple business units
• Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders in dynamic environments
• Experience with third-party vendor management and risk programs
• Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data terminology, and data ecosystems
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in financial services, asset management, or real estate industries
• Familiarity with Anaplan or similar enterprise planning tools
• Experience working within newer or evolving PMO structures
