Job description
CACI's Corporate Enterprise Services Cyber Security Team is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer. As a member of the Cyber Security Team, you will work to create and maintain a DFARS compliant operating environment for CACI's users by protecting network boundaries, designing and supporting hardened computer, network devices, cloud services, and provide security services to protect highly sensitive data for our endpoints, servers, and OT/IoT.
The candidate will work directly with our cybersecurity team to support all major networking activities and evaluate software and SaaS services with a Cyber Security focus. Additional responsibilities include technical risk assessment, testing and validation of remediation for vulnerabilities, and compliance guidance for our networking environments. Candidate will support governance of appropriate policy and compliance technology to meet or exceed applicable government and compliance., * Provide cybersecurity guidance for CACI networks and infrastructure, including SDN, wireless, IP networks, and OT/IoT systems
- Collaborate with network engineers to assess security risk, compliance, and mitigation needs
- Research cybersecurity threats and applicable NIST 800 standards to support secure system design
- Develop and document mitigation strategies, maintain risk records, and produce security reports
- Apply networking expertise to support and maintain a Zero Trust security environment
- Use data analysis techniques to assess and enhance CACI's infrastructure security posture
- Ensure internal and third-party networking technologies follow industry best practices and compliance requirements
- Draft technical requirements, procedures, and network diagrams to strengthen security documentation
- Review security reports, documentation, test results, and remediation plans
- Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and communicate clearly in written and verbal formats
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
- Strong cybersecurity background
- Significant networking expertise
Desired:
- Cybersecurity or network certifications (CYSA+, CISSP, CEH, Security+, etc.)
- Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Experience with cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance programs
- Ability to work independently and in team-centric environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with risk management frameworks (DFARS 800-171, CMMC, ISO, NIST)
- Intermediate knowledge in three or more of the following: SDN concepts, NIST 800 series, risk mitigation strategies, security tools/automation, or cloud/SaaS architectures

The proposed salary range for this position is
$90,300-$189,600
