Travel Requirements: This position is HYBRID, with approximately 80% of work done remotely. There is no in-office work, but client site visits will be necessary approximately 1x/week for troubleshooting. Clients are predominately located in Central and North Jersey. About the Role We are hiring on behalf of a growing NJ-based managed service provider that specializes in technology support for small to medium-sized businesses, particularly in the construction industry. They've been doing excellent work for over a decade and are bringing on a dedicated technician so the team can continue to grow and serve their clients well. That's where you come in. This is a full-time, W-2 hybrid role (80% remote) with occasional on-site client visits, primarily in Morris, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties. Mileage is reimbursed. What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Handling client support tickets via phone and email
- Managing user onboarding and offboarding
- Assisting with new hardware setup and configuration
- Using downtime to self-develop, learn new tools, and contribute to internal projects

Requirements
You're the kind of person who doesn't need to be babysat. You can pick up the phone, handle a client with confidence, figure out a problem, document it properly, and move on to the next thing. Baseline Experience Required:
- Remote support and ticketing systems
- Based networking concepts (DNS, DCHP, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Windows desktop operating systems and common-end user troubleshooting
- Strong documentation habits and attention to detail
Ideally, you have:
- 5+ years of IT or delivery technician experience.
- Comfort with (or ability to quickly learn) Microsoft 365 services
- A personable, professional phone presence
- Certifications (A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus but not required. Experience talks louder here.

- Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 (negotiable based on experience)
