Description

SAIC is seeking you, our latest Help Desk Technician on the Horizon Program to support the United States Space Force's Program Executive Office for Space Domain Aware and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, CA. If you like computers, software testing, or just about anything information technology related in the Space and Ground systems field, then this could be the right job for you.

Fun stuff you will do on the job:

  • Provide critical call center support for complex environments, operating systems, servers and workstations.
  • Coordinates and performs complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Schedules, installations and upgrades in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and reports issues to system owners to ensure optimum performance levels and system integrity while minimizing downtime. Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities.
  • Assist system owners with hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Assist Tier 2 administrators with the development, implementation and promotion of standard operating procedures and schedules.

Qualifications

This is you:

  • Bachelors Degree or four years of relevant experience in the following fields:
  • Windows operating systems
  • Trouble ticket administration
  • Call center customer service
  • Current Security + certification.
  • Must have a current Secret security clearance.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
