Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect Role for the below job responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: Design & Implementation for AWS Cloud and supported web/middleware technologies, Leadership in resolving complex support issues Escalation point for all lower tier support engineers Charged with driving automation, process efficiency, and efficient use of technology Define, implement, and manage development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation Provide inputs towards the relevant deliverables Administer all AWS components in use by client applications (IaaS and PaaS) with experience in both EC2 and containerized deployments (i.e. EKS) Monitor operational status of all AWS components via cloud-native (CloudWatch, CloudTrail) or 3rd party (Datadog, LogicMonitor, etc.) monitoring tools Author/Review client documentation Periodic recommendations to clients to optimize performance, availability, security, and resource consumption Consult on cloud strategy, including application migrations and HA architectures Assist clients in development of implementation of operational processes (patching, config management, image management) Consult and guide client on selection and implementation of cloud operations toolset Provide guidance to clients on cost optimization of their cloud spend Required Skills 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 5-8 years in AWS architecture Hands on experience with AWS infrastructure and services, compute technologies (Linux and Windows), cloud networking, storage, IaaS/PaaS components and hybrid AWS Experience with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, performance tuning and cost Experience in implementation of public, private and hybrid cloud solutions. Experience with 3rd party ticketing and monitoring tools (e.g. ServiceNow, ConnectWise) Experienced on Infrastructure automation using IaC tools, such as CloudFormation and Terraform Must have sound knowledge of SDLC and be able to work in Agile methodologies. Experienced in CI/CD pipeline creation and management, and integration with both cloud native and 3rd party tools, such as BitBucket, Jira, SonarQube, Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, GIT, etc.
