Job description
The AES Group, Inc. is seeking a talented and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing IT infrastructure that supports business-critical applications and enterprise operations., * Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms
- Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
- Manage Windows and Linux server environments across development, testing, and production systems
- Administer cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments
- Perform patch management, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents and provide timely root cause resolution
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support integrated IT operations
- Implement infrastructure automation using scripting and configuration management tools
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, processes, and system changes
Requirements
This position is ideal for a technology professional with strong expertise in systems infrastructure, cloud environments, virtualization, and network administration who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or related technical roles
- Strong experience with Windows/Linux server administration
- Hands-on knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and routing
- Proficiency in scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or similar
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
