Champion the adoption of generative AI technologies to drive productivity gains, accelerate time to market, and position the team at the forefront of innovation.

Advocate for engineering and operational excellence by setting high standards for code quality, reliability, system performance, and on-call practices.

Establish and maintain a consistent project management framework and development processes that enable rapid, iterative delivery of high-quality software.

Define and communicate a clear team vision, charter, and roadmap that aligns engineering priorities with organizational goals and contributes to annual planning cycles.

Create audit mechanisms and metrics to track team performance, explain variance against goals, and continuously improve customer experiences.

Mentor and develop engineers at all levels, providing guidance on technical growth, career development, and leadership, while identifying and clearing roadblocks to their success.

Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders to align engineering priorities with customer needs and organizational goals.
Requirements
3+ years of engineering team management experience

3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience

8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
