Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Linux Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.\n
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.\n
- Must possess an IAT-I certification, such as Network + CE or Security + CE.\n
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.\n
- Strong Linux experience\n
- Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.\n
- Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.\n
- Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.\n
- Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.\n
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.\n, * Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered for this role.\n, * Experience deploying and maintaining nginx\n
- Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite \n
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS\n
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana\n
- Experience with SELinux and FIPS\n
