Job description
This role supports the execution of the data discovery and remediation program by improving classification accuracy and helping convert findings into actionable workflows. The position works hands-on with data discovery tools and ticketing systems to ensure results are reliable, organized, and actionable., * Execute and monitor data scans across priority data sources
- Support creation and tuning of classifiers to improve accuracy and reduce false positives
- Review and analyze findings (e.g., sensitive data, aged data, retention risks)
- Create and manage remediation tickets in Jira (and later ServiceNow)
- Apply consistent tagging, routing, and tracking of findings
- Support development of repeatable workflows from discovery to remediation
- Maintain basic documentation for processes and improvements
Requirements

Experience with classifier development or tuning (regex, NER, pattern matching)

Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)

Basic understanding of data types (structured vs. unstructured)

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Exposure to data discovery tools like BigID

Familiarity with data governance, privacy, or security concepts

Basic scripting or querying skills (SQL, Python, APIs) Success
