Responsibility for the product backlog of a software product in the field of electronic warfare (COMINT)

Creation, maintenance, and prioritization of product requirements, including clear, understandable preparation for the development team

Active stakeholder management as the central interface between product management, project management, and the development and test team

Ensuring regular product releases through plannable increments over multiple sprint cycles

Coordination of features with the product manager and determination of the development sequence according to maximum benefit

Participation in Scrum events (sprint planning, review, retrospective) and clarification of technical queries in the sprint

Introduction of suitable methods for measuring success and deriving concrete improvement measures

Acceptance of the functionalities developed in the sprint and ensuring the agreed quality
Requirements
- Completed degree (at least a bachelor's) in computer science or a related field with a focus on software development or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a product owner or in a comparable role in an agile environment
- Confident use of agile development and planning tools (including IBM DOORS, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project)
- Very good technical understanding of modern software development (especially Java, C++)
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills
Benefits & conditions
