What is The Role We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our Platform Analytics team. In this role, you'll help build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that support business, product, and technical use cases across Elastic. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, high-quality data in a fast-moving, distributed environment. Strong experience with SQL and Python 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience designing and operating production data pipelines at scale Good knowledge of architecture and design (patterns, reliability, scalability, quality) of complex systems Familiarity with BigQuery and modern ELT tools (e.g., dbt) Experience with AI tools and workflows Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Bonus Points Experience with Buildkite and Terraform Experience with Dataflow on GCP Experience with Elasticsearch Experience with Kubernetes
