Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer at ManTech, you will be working on pioneering technologies and solutions essential to the U.S. intelligence community and the Department of Defense. This role calls for testing and validating software to ensure the effectiveness and security of critical systems, contributing directly to national security. Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate software functionalities. Identify, record, and document thoroughly bugs and glitches. Collaborate with software developers and project support teams. Monitor outcomes, track software defects, and manage remediation. Perform both automated and manual testing, including performance, load, and stress tests. Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards, and those standards set forth by upstream sources. Proficiency in software testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete).

Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python). Experience with both manual and automated testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. ISTQB Certification (Preferred) Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) (Preferred)
