Backend API Developer, Junior

• Design and develop high-performance Python Fast APIs
• Enable seamless access to datasets such as Radar, Satellite, and Numerical Weather Models
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment
• Contribute to the development of enterprise-grade data solutions

U.S. citizenship or permanent residence; ability to secure and maintain a Public Trust clearance as required, * Minimum of 2 years of professional experience or an equivalent Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in FastAPI
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and source control management tools like Git
• Experience with build automation systems such as Jenkins or Hudson
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to Agile methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Knowledge of JIRA for project management
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Salary Range: $80K- $120K Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
