Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL-based application development and legacy system modernization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications while supporting migration initiatives and ensuring application security and performance., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performing mainframe applications

Participate in legacy-to-distributed system migration initiatives
Write efficient, scalable, and secure code following coding standards
Apply SDLC methodologies including Agile, Lean, and CI practices
Analyze and optimize application performance
Work with APIs through middleware integration
Perform vulnerability remediation and security enhancements
Provide on-call production support on a rotational basis
Take ownership of business requirements and deliver solutions independently
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and Product Owners

Requirements

8-10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe development

Must-Have Technical Skills

Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS
Proficiency with ChangeMan, File Aid/File Manager, DFSORT, Syncsort, and Easytrieve
Experience in System Z (Enterprise COBOL & JCL)
Expertise in Mainframe DB2 Application Development, * Experience in modernization or migration projects
Knowledge of software/product security practices
Strong understanding of testing techniques and documentation standards
